Red, White & Blue Tournament
Registration will open soon for the LWGA Red, White & Blue Tournament on September 15, at Palmetto and Terrapin Point to benefit the Landings Military Family Relief Fund (LMFRF.)
LWGA members are encouraged to invite their L9GA and New Neighbors friends to join their team. Individuals may also register and will be paired with a team.
Guests must be full golf members and may have an index above 32.9, but 32.9 will be used as the maximum index. The format is one net ball and the divisions are Course, Island and Skidaway tees.
We assume the current social distancing rules will still apply. Tee times will be staggered, starting at 8 am. Box lunches, to be charged to the member’s club account, will be provided at the turn. However, players may enjoy a socially distant beverage with the teammates after the round.
Unfortunately, all military personnel are in lockdown, so we will instead send an email blast with a video message from Command Sergeant Major Rebecca Myers, a mom and a decorated military leader, who is the Fort Stewart Garrison Senior Enlisted Leader.
The purchase of mulligans – three for $20 – generates the entire donation to the worthy LMFRF and are available on the LWGA website and the day of the tournament.
So, invite a friend and discuss which tees you’ll use – especially now that both Palmetto and Terrapin Point have Island tees. Contact Tournament Chair Holly Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org or 413-822-2423 with any questions.
